breathless in the water
bound by memory
of all the pain you authored
your love is a sea
and northern faces linger
with soil to the sun
it all comes down to nothing
and I’m bleeding once again

fated by our fathers
numb with clarity
of all the faith you altered
you were everything
and vacant skies still cover
the writing on the walls
it all comes down to something
and I’m bleeding once again

Once More, Autumn Minneapolis, Minnesota

Once More, Autumn is the brainchild of Minneapolis-based artist and songwriter Evan Walton. A transplant of Dayton, Ohio and a student of Berklee College of Music, Walton is dedicated to bridging indie-folk music with alternative soundscapes.

Love is a Sea is due out on 9/3. With deeply personal lyrics that unfold through Walton’s melodies, these songs build on themes of loss and longing.
